Policies
At Ilm Preparatory we believe every student deserves a safe, supportive, and Islamic-centered online learning environment. These policies guide our students, families, and staff as we work together toward academic and personal growth.
1. Respect and Online Conduct
Students are expected to demonstrate kindness and respect in all online interactions including live classes, chats, and group work.
Disruptive behavior, inappropriate comments, or misuse of chat and video tools will not be tolerated.
2. Attendance and Participation
Students are required to log in on time for scheduled classes and remain engaged throughout the session.
Active participation in discussions, assignments, and assessments is expected.
3. Academic Integrity
All work submitted must be the student’s own.
Plagiarism, use of AI or other tools for dishonest work, or receiving unauthorized help during exams will result in disciplinary action.
4. Technology and Learning Environment
Students must use a stable internet connection, a functioning device, and a quiet distraction free environment for learning.
Families are responsible for ensuring students have the necessary technology and supplies for class.
5. Digital Safety and Privacy
Students should never share personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or passwords in class chats or with peers.
Recording or distributing class sessions without permission is prohibited.
All Ilm Preparatory platforms are to be used only for educational purposes.
6. Parent Partnership
Parents are expected to support student success by monitoring progress, communicating with teachers, and ensuring students attend regularly.
Parents may not complete assignments for their children but are encouraged to provide guidance and structure at home.
7. Attendance and Withdrawal Policy
Excessive absences or lack of engagement may affect a student’s standing in the program.
Families withdrawing from the program should provide at least two weeks’ notice to administration.
8. Faith and Values Integration
Ilm Preparatory integrates Islamic values into the learning environment. Students are expected to respect these values and uphold them in conduct, language, and attitude.
